Why we are so proud to be Founding Partners of #GivingTuesday

'Tis the season to...what? Be jolly? Celebrate a new year or a holiday? Reflect on the past year and focus on the next? The holiday season means many things to many people, but one thing is certain: it is the season of giving. From Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve feelings of generosity, reflection, redemption, and hope are evoked through age-old stories. The Grinch learns that Christmas is not only focused on gifts and presents, but rather about being surrounded by people who care about each other. Ebenzeer Scrooge has an opportunity to seek redemption for his behavior towards others, and he does.

Sometimes the season of giving gets muddled by the many opportunities to get. We have Black Friday to promote in store shopping. We have Cyber Monday to focus on eCommerce. But, this year, DoGoodBuyUs is a proud founding partner of #GivingTuesday™. On November 27, 2012 America has the opportunity to show that it gives back as good as it gets. It’s a simple idea. Find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to join in acts of giving. Tell everyone you can about what you are doing and why it matters. Join a national celebration of our great tradition of generosity. And together we’ll create ways to give more, give better and give smarter

DoGoodBuyUs is participating by creating this #GivingTuesday landing page which houses all of our charity-made products, with the the promise to give 90% of proceeds from purchases to the cause. All of these gifts, perfect for everyone in your life, help someone in need. And the amazing thing about these gifts is that their presence is felt all year round. Help us spread the word about #GivingTuesday™ and give back during this special time of year.

Important to note that these gifts give all year round through the support they offer to those in need
